You can become familiar with the Finnish art from the 1940's to the 1960's at the exhibitions of the Eero Rantanen Foundation's art collections, located at the Museum and Cultural Centre of Harkko and Huhko Manor. The collection of over 3000 works include Russian and Estonian paintings, graphic art, miniature sculptures and medals.

One Thousand Years Ago

Archaeologists have made several findings from the Iron Age. These findings tell us that agriculture became established in this area about one thousand years ago. The Krookila Local History Museum houses a reconstruction of an Iron Age house with copies of items found in the area. You can also get to know the ancient history of the area by visiting the exhibitions at the Museum and Cultural Centre of Harkko.
